OUR GOAL

PROCLAMATION, DEFENSE OF THE GOSPEL, AND PREPARATION OF DISCIPLES FOR THE MINISTRY OF THE GOSPEL.

The proclamation of the Gospel,…

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
- Mk 16,15-16 -

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
- Mk 8,35 -

We believe that the only way is faith in the proclaimed gospel, through which man can be reconciled with God, saved from eternal damnation and accepted by God as His son, enjoying His love, already in this earthly life, and then throughout eternity.
We believe on the one hand that the preaching of the gospel is a command of Christ, and thus the duty of every born-again believer, and on the other hand that one of the signs of true faith, a sincere, true following of Christ, is shown in a life given for Him and the gospel. “He who loses his life for His sake and the gospel’s will save it.” This should be the goal and mission of every life following Christ.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
- 1Cor 1,18 -

We believe that the message of the cross, the gospel, is the power of God. That God in His eternal wisdom has decided to save believers through the foolishness of preaching. That His Holy Spirit, through the truth of the gospel, works in the human heart with the same boundless divine power with which He called forth the created world, with which He raised Christ from the dead, and is able to quicken the dead soul of corrupt, sinful man. When He makes someone a new creation, a completely new life, a new man, is created. And this life is visible, recognizable by its fruits.

...defense of the gospel,...

The greatest danger to God’s truth has always been the distortion of the truth, not its denial. Today, when Christianity has become fashionable and false gospels are flooding the world, it is an important task for God’s people to stand firm in the truth and expose every sound, pious-sounding human opinion and theory, every false gospel that distorts the gospel of Christ.

The true gospel awakens in man the fear of God, godly repentance, deep humility, holiness by presenting to men the glory of God in Jesus Christ. It proclaims the person and deeds of a mighty, almighty, merciful and just, sovereign Lord. The true gospel message places God at the center. Its purpose is to lead man to worship God, to a life dedicated to Him.

False gospels, on the other hand, place man at the center. It is not intended to fix people’s gaze on the true God. It is not intended to present His glory according to the Scriptures. Its purpose is to make people “feel good.” It tries to give people comfort, happiness, and satisfaction with the image of a false God. The center is man, and God is his helper. With the change of emphasis, inevitably comes a change in content, which rephrases the message of the gospel. This message, however, leads to false religiosity, obscures the glory of God, and is unable to lead people to salvation.

Where there is no fear of God, godly repentance, holiness, and humility, there is no true knowledge of God, and there is no true worship. And if all this is missing, the foundation of Christianity is missing.

…and preparing disciples for the ministry of the gospel.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
- Eph 4,11-14 -

It is God's will that those who have become followers of Christ should come to maturity, be firmly rooted in the truth, not to be tossed here and there by every wind of doctrine, and be fit for the building up of the body of Christ and the ministry of the gospel. It is important that God's people be properly prepared for this. Therefore, our goal is to teach those who have become believers the truth and clear, clear Biblical thinking.
