The purpose of these occasions is to present the glory and beauty of Christ, and the truths of the gospel, in a way that is understandable and accessible to all people. We believe that the gospel not only saves, but sanctifies, is a means of our continuous growth, of our being shaped into the image of Jesus by the Spirit. Contemplation of Jesus Christ can bring comfort, encouragement, and strength to the believing soul on these occasions.
